While they’re usually know for anthemic originals as one of deep house’s supergroups, Hot Natured has previewed their first ever remix, a beautifully composed take on Phoenix‘s new single “Entertainment”. With a fantastic track record of vocalists on their productions, the Hot Natured foursome takes the introspective lyrics of Thomas Mars and adds in signature twangy basslines and 80’s style new wave synths.
2013 is looking up for the team of Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Ali Love and Luca C with “Reverse Skydiving” already previewed and a full-length album on the way. Said the group on their first venture into remix territory, “We’re all big fans of Phoenix. We had kind of decided that Hot Natured wouldn’t do remixes but we couldn’t turn this down. We broke off finishing the album and all got it involved. Our first proper Hot Natured remix.”
No word on release date but it should be soon to follow the new Phoenix album release “Bankrupt!” on April 23.
